Hello to all who have been waiting for me to start my blog! Or maybe you have stumbled upon my blog by chance, please share the beauty!! One of the many things I have learned from being a doula from my clients is how extraordinarily beautiful pregnancy really is! Being a doula, I get to see the amazing journey of change that happens from beginning to end of pregnancy. Pregnancy is beautiful, amazing, peaceful, and stunning!! (I could go on) My clients have influenced me to look back at my pregnancy pictures from my daughters and realize how truly amazingly beautiful of a woman I was and am today!! I love to learn about myself and these ladies have taught me that pregnancy is not about you saying to yourself "I am fat" (which I get a lot from clients); it is about saying "I am a beautiful, stunning woman carrying life in my body!" And so here is me opening up the blog with a bang with pictures I have never shared before. They are pictures that expose me to my core, but wanted to share the true beauty of pregnancy. I hope this helps any one out there who is or trying to become pregnant to feel beautiful and confident in themselves as they grow into a mother! As Ina May put it, "There is no other organ quite like the uterus. If men had such an organ they would brag about it. So should we". ~Ina May Gaskin
